Layout Terms: 

font (serif & sans-serif): The first sans-serif types were developed in the 18th century. They became popular in printed media in the early 19th century, at first under the term grotesque, as the omission of serifs was a significant departure from hundreds of years of tradition in printed text.

margin: The amount of equity contributed by a customer as a percentage of the current market value of the securities held in a margin account.

bleed: is a printing term that refers to printing that goes beyond the edge of the sheet before trimming.

CMYK: CMYK color model (process color, four color) is a subtractive color model, used in color printing, and is also used to describe the printing process itself.

resolution: In computers, resolution is the number of pixels (individual points of color) contained on a display monitor, expressed in terms of the number of pixels on the horizontal axis and the number on the vertical axis. The sharpness of the image on a display depends on the resolution and the size of the monitor.

registration mark: The registered trademark symbol, designated by (the circled capital letter R), is a symbol that provides notice that the preceding word or symbol is a trademark or service mark that has been registered with a national trademark office. In some countries it is against the law to use the registered trademark symbol for a mark that is not officially registered in any country.

Layout border: A border layout lays out a container, arranging and resizing its components to fit in five regions: north, south, east, west, and center. Each region may contain no more than one component, and is identified by a corresponding constant: NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST, and CENTER. When adding a component to a container with a border layout

Layout dimensions: A linear dimension is a group consisting three lines and text string. The first line, called the starting extension line (1), extends away from the start point of the dimension. The ending extension line (2) extends away from the end point of the dimension.
